About Flexivo
Flexivo helps you check shift hours, a gross-pay scenario and a simple PTO accrual calculation using inputs you control.
Separate the questions
The time card and shift length calculators check one shift shorter than 24 hours after an entered unpaid break. The overtime calculator models gross pay at one rate with a chosen threshold and multiplier. The PTO calculator divides the hours entered by the hours needed to earn one PTO hour.
Records before results
Clock minutes and decimal hours are different notations: 17.5 means 17:30, while 17.30 means 17:18. Keep original times and dates alongside your inputs. Our decimal-time guide explains conversion and overnight shifts. The time-card and pay guide explains how to keep hours, gross pay and leave accrual separate.
Limits of a simple model
The calculators do not connect to payroll, determine overtime eligibility or verify an employer’s policy. They do not apply every compensation rule, deduction, accrual cap or carryover provision. Examples demonstrate arithmetic rather than establish the rules for a particular worker. Compare results with the relevant records and applicable requirements.
How content is prepared
Initial explanatory drafts used AI assistance. Worked examples and calculator outputs are checked against the stated arithmetic. Flexivo does not claim that an employment professional reviewed your situation. The editorial policy describes sources, scope and corrections.
